CAMP RAMBLEWOOD, DARLINGTON, MD

A Converted Summer Camp

Camp Ramblewood has a storied history - it was once a stop on the underground railroad, a farm, and eventually a summer camp.

This beautiful, private, 200 acre property is a unique rustic resort with basic services, providing tranquility and serenity to be free of inhibitions and follow your intuitions.

CLOSE TO MAJOR CITIES

Showcation is easily accessible via car.

Philadelphia 1 hour
Baltimore 1 hour
Washington DC 2 hours
New York City 3 hours

The Amtrak is also a great option if you’re coming from a city, and we’ll be running shuttles for $15 to and from the Aberdeen station. Buy in advance to lock in some very affordable pricing!

Cabins

What’s a summer camp without cabins? We’re bringing slumber parties back. Sleeping in a cabin with friends isn’t just a memory of the past, but a very real possibility.

Have friends you want to sleep in a cabin with?
We have rooms that range from 2-16 people.

Coming by yourself or in a small group?
We have dorm rooms for you to bunk with other campers in.

And the best part? All of our beds are *single Tempurpedic mattresses, so you don’t have to worry about climbing up and down a bunk bed at night.

*sheets, pillows and blankets are not provided for your twin bed

AMENITIES *

AMENITIES *

For those of you campers who come from the festival world, you’ll find this experience to be a breath of fresh air (and water).

There are multiple bathrooms, showers and filtered drinking water accessible to all campers throughout the weekend, regardless of whether or not you decide to stay in a cabin.

Some House Rules

This is our home for a short period of time every year, so it’s important that we treat the space with respect and leave it in a better state than we found it.

  • Pick up after yourself and others. If you see something out of place, find a disposal bin.

  • No driving or parking on the grass (outside of car camping or car parking areas)

  • No amplified sound without permission. Small portable speakers are fine.

2025 MAP COMING SOON!!

DINING HALL

From the beginning of designing Showcation, we wanted a daily place to gather. Taking inspiration from the Hogwarts Great Hall, we decided to get people together for meals twice per day (brunch and dinner). The dining hall is a place where new friendships are formed and old friendships are strengthened. A communal gathering to discuss the absurd things you got into during the day, and align on your plans for the night.

Lake STage (NEW)

New this year, we’re moving our talents (and our main stage) to the lake beach. All of our night time music will be here, so show up ready to dance until your feet tell you to stop, then continue dancing.

And as you’ve probably guessed, we’ve decided to retire the forest stage. As much as we love it, we simply have too many people coming this year to fit in that space.

Lake Theme Camps (NEW)

With much demand this year, we’re launching our theme camp program and home around the lake. Here you’ll be able to explore true lake night entertainment (sorry we had to), created by attendees just like you.

And if you’ve got a big group that wants to contribute to the Showcation magic, there’s still a couple spots available!

The Pool

What’s a summer camp without an olympic sized plus pool with lots of seating around it? The pool will be open during day hours and will be the space for our famous pool party, returning with a new Floatopia theme this year. A bit chilly in May, but nothing that a bit of mental toughness and liquid courage can’t handle.

The Comedy Barn (NEWISH)

Evolving and taking a new form, last year’s main stage is converting into an alternative arts space for comedy, theater and performances breaking the mold.

Gamblewood

Home of the Frick Frack and intimate performances, Gamblewood is where you go when you’re ready for the absurd. Last year we hosted our comedy acts, as well as the Mediocre Talent Show, Karaoke Roulette, and Nickleback & Picklebacks here.

Jive Joint (New)

A late night festival staple, the Jive Joint turns the audience into the show. You’ll often find yourself laughing, crying and questioning your existence at god knows what time. One thing’s for sure – SuperTall Paul, Sethward and Rossome know how to put on a show.

Fire Pits

Take a load off once you’re done dancing and running around like a maniac, and enjoy some s’mores by the fire. What’s more summer camp than that?

Sports Courts

Basketball, pickleball, volleyball. No need to bring your own equipment, we got you. Nuff said.

Car Camping

Located behind the alphabet cabins, there’s a big flat grassy field perfect for camping directly next to your car. A nice benefit here too is that this will be a quieter camping experience for the lighter sleepers at camp.

Tent Camping (New)

Carry your tent into the summer camp and plop it right in the action for closer access to all of the fun. And the best part about this option is it’s free 99.

This experience is like no other

Believe it or not, that’s not all there is to explore at the camp. We’re truly trying to be the “biggest” small event ever, so you never run out of things to see and do. The only true way to get the whole picture is to be there to take it.
